Bentley, the luxury carmaker is going to launch the all-new Bentayga Hybrid in 2021 and that can change the future of the market of hybrid vehicles. This new product is going to be a true luxury SUV and as the company predicts, will become the best-selling sibling in the Bentayga family.

Before the new upcoming product, the Bentayga Speed and Bentayga V8 were launched, but we expect the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid to become the most successful member.

Specs

This luxury SUV uses a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbocharged petrol engine that produces 443bhp, which is joined by 126bhp electric motor. The whole power system generates 516lb ft of torque.

The 17.6kWh lithium battery pack is promised to deliver an electric range of 31 miles. It is will also be fully charged in two and a half hours only, which is pretty quick. The charging speed is claimed to be 7.2kWh. We expect the Hybrid model to hit the 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds although the information is not confirmed yet.

The 2021 Bentley Bentayga Hybrid is equipped with Hybrid Efficiency Navigation system that automatically switches between the petrol and electric motor to deliver the maximum efficiency.

Design

The front grille is going to be bigger than the other models as the front bumper is redesigned. It comes with new LED matrix headlights as well. The rear end benefits from a refresh look and style with a wide new tailgate and taillights. They might resemble the Bentley Continental GT. The wheels are new and 22 inches, something that the older Bentayga members lack.

The windscreen wipers are new as well, as they come with a heating system and 22 washer jets for each.

Inside the cabin, the center dashboard, the steering wheel, the door trims and seats are revised. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are offered as standard features for the 10.9-inch touchscreen. The heads-up display and a revised digital instrument cluster are among the other features.
