We recently had the opportunity to drive the 2026 Nissan Sentra and came away quite impressed with what the compact sedan has to offer. While it isn’t without its flaws, the Sentra delivers remarkable value, starting at a base price of $22,400, not including the $1,245 destination fee. Beyond the general impressions covered in our full review, it’s worth exploring the pricing and feature breakdown of each trim level in detail.
All 2026 Sentra models, regardless of trim, are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 149 hp and 198 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission that sends power exclusively to the front wheels, delivering a smooth and efficient driving experience suitable for daily commuting.
The entry-level Sentra S kicks off the lineup with a suite of standard features at an accessible price point. Exterior enhancements include new standard LED lighting units, a gloss black grille, and 16-inch steel wheels with covers. The cabin is functional yet well-equipped, offering a 7-inch cluster display and a 12.3-inch infotainment system compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional standard equipment includes cloth seats, power windows and locks, a four-speaker audio system, three USB-C charging ports, manual climate controls, and a keyless entry system with push-button start. For colder climates, buyers can opt for a $500 cold weather package, which adds heated front seats and heated exterior mirrors.
Even at its entry-level status, the Sentra S is packed with driver-assistance technology, including Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Blind Spot Warning with Intervention, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Moving up the range, the Sentra SV starts at $23,170 and is expected to be the best-selling trim. For an extra $770 over the base model, it offers 16-inch alloy wheels, upgraded upholstery, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The interior also gains automatic climate control, enhanced sun visors with extensions, remote start, a passive entry system, and a security system. Buyers seeking additional convenience can add the $990 SV Convenience Package, which includes heated mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, an upgraded passive entry system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a six-speaker audio system, ambient lighting, heated front seats, a wireless smartphone charger, and a heated faux leather steering wheel. A moonroof is available for an additional $650.
The Sentra SR, priced at $25,000, brings a sportier appearance with a dark chrome grille, extended side skirts, a rear spoiler, a distinctive rear bumper, a chrome exhaust tip, and an optional two-tone paint job. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and features upgraded LED lighting and mirrors with integrated turn signals. Inside, the cabin includes sport cloth seats with accent stitching, a synthetic leather steering wheel, a wireless phone charger, a six-speaker audio system, rear-seat heat ducts, a rear armrest with cupholders, and NissanConnect with a Wi-Fi hotspot.
At the top of the range is the Sentra SL, starting at $27,990. This trim features 17-inch alloy wheels, a power moonroof, a premium cabin with heated TailorFit front seats, a heated steering wheel, a six-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, illuminated vanity mirrors, and an 8-speaker Bose audio system. Advanced driver-assistance technologies include Lane Keep Assist, Rear Automatic Braking, and an Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. The highlight, however, is ProPILOT Assist, which combines adaptive cruise control with lane-centering functionality for enhanced comfort and safety on longer drives.
