Shoppers in the market for a new dual-cab ute now have an attractive new incentive from LDV, thanks to a fresh promotional discount that significantly lowers the entry price of the LDV T60 Max Pro 4x4 automatic. Under this limited-time offer, the T60 Max Pro can be purchased for a drive-away price starting at $36,990, representing a $2000 reduction from its previous promotional price. This deal is valid for ABN holders and is scheduled to remain in place until December 31, 2025, unless LDV chooses to extend it further. At the moment, this discounted figure makes the T60 Max Pro the most affordable tub-backed dual-cab ute available across the Australian market.
Earlier this year, the T60 Max Pro received a number of important upgrades aimed at improving both safety and drivability. The updated package includes autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and lane-keep assist—features that bring the ute more in line with modern safety expectations. LDV also added a revised rear-view camera and switched to electric power steering, enhancing maneuverability and ease of use. Another standout improvement was the increase in its braked towing capacity, which rose from 3000kg to a competitive 3500kg.
Under the bonnet, the T60 Max Pro continues to run a 2.0-litre twin-turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine capable of producing 160kW of power and 500Nm of torque. Power is delivered to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, which includes both high- and low-range gearing to support off-road performance and heavy-duty tasks.
Inside the cabin, the T60 Max Pro is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a digital radio tuner. The exterior is fitted with practical and aesthetic enhancements including black roof rails, a spray-in tub liner, side steps, a sports bar, and LED headlights featuring daytime running lights.
When these upgrades were first introduced, the automatic T60 Max Pro carried a drive-away price of $45,243 for private buyers and $42,990 for ABN holders. For quite some time, LDV had also been offering the model at $38,990 drive-away for ABN customers. With the additional $2000 discount now applied, the T60 Max Pro becomes the cheapest double-cab ute currently on sale in Australia. Previously, the discontinued 2.0-litre GWM Cannon Premium held that position with a $36,490 drive-away price. Even the low-spec Toyota Hilux Workmate 4x2 cost more at $37,730 before on-road fees.
Today, the new-generation GWM Cannon starts from $39,490 drive-away for ABN buyers, further emphasizing the strong value proposition of the T60 Max Pro. LDV backs the ute with a seven-year, 200,000km warranty and offers it in five colours—white, black, grey, blue, and orange—with all non-white colours adding a $500 paint premium. Additionally, LDV’s network includes 95 dealerships nationwide, giving buyers broad access to sales and support.
