Mercedes-AMG Introduces A Roadster EV, It Points Your Heart

One of special specifics about Mercedes Benz is its Originality. Although thanks to the technology the world is nearer today and we are seeing cars are getting just like each other, but Mercedes this time would not think about sale rates or public acceptation. Its about emotion. This German automaker would introduce an electric Mercedes-AMG Roadster.

The chief operating officer Markus Schäfer claimed, this electric roadster is not about financial successes, but is about an emotional product that is important for brand building. This time the long-lasting drive, battery pack or how big the infotainment screen is, is not at all important. Its about love. For the AMG section having such electric product is essential.

By the interview done by Top Gear, Schäfer told:

“And we have to recognize that the demand for roadsters and cabriolets is declining. China is not a cabriolet market and there are fewer buyers in Europe compared to some years ago. But I think it’s a very attractive product and an emotional product that builds the brand.”

This angel of view, is just for some supercars, or custom cars which have very unique buyers. For example, Mazda Miat is the soul of this company and its necessary to have such a legend in companies line up. For Mercedes-AMG, is the memory of an emotional driving which simulates the old driving feels but with electric motors.

Seeing an EV from another angle is impressive. As the nature of electric car is about helping green energy, having the max. output from them was always more important than the experiences we take. Without any doubt, electric EV engines won’t have the sound of a Mercedes-AMG V8, but it worth to give it a try.
