Mansory has now shifted its focus to the latest generation of the BMW M5, internally known as the G90. This new M5 has often faced criticism for its weight, but those who have driven it agree that it’s a true performance sedan, delivering a thrilling driving experience. Now, under Mansory’s influence, the already potent M5 has received a bolder design, a more aggressive stance, and a significant boost in power, transforming it into an even more formidable super saloon.

Compared to some of Mansory’s past projects, the tuner’s interpretation of the M5 might appear somewhat restrained—at least by its own flamboyant standards. That said, “subtle” is not a word one would use to describe it. True to form, Mansory has incorporated an abundance of exposed carbon fiber, giving the car a sharp and sporty personality. The front end is noticeably more menacing thanks to a redesigned lower grille surround and a prominent front splitter that enhances the car’s aerodynamics while also amplifying its visual drama. One of the most striking changes is found on the hood, where Mansory has inserted large carbon-fiber vents in the center section, creating a more purposeful and race-inspired look. The upgrades continue along the sides, featuring carbon-fiber mirror caps, new sculpted side skirts, and carbon detailing near the signature BMW Hofmeister kink. Completing the visual overhaul are massive 22-inch alloy wheels that fill the arches perfectly, leaving no doubt about the M5’s enhanced performance potential.

Inside, Mansory has worked its signature flair into the cabin as well. The interior now combines bold, bright blue leather on the seats and door inserts with large patches of contrasting black leather. The result is an atmosphere that feels luxurious yet distinctly sporty. While the color combination is certainly eye-catching, it’s more refined compared to some of Mansory’s more eccentric interiors, reflecting a balance between performance and opulence.

Performance-wise, Mansory has ensured that the mechanical upgrades match the visual ones. The standard BMW M5 G90 is already an impressive machine, powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 hybrid engine that produces 717 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque. Mansory’s tuning, however, pushes these figures up to an astonishing 838 horsepower and 1,150 Nm of torque—numbers that propel the car firmly into supercar territory.

Perhaps the most debated element of this build is the exhaust system. Instead of BMW’s traditional quad exhaust outlets, Mansory has opted for a triple central exhaust layout reminiscent of the Honda Civic Type R. While purists may prefer the classic design, this new configuration certainly makes a statement and still manages to look cleaner than some of BMW’s own recent M Performance exhaust options.

Mansory’s take on the G90 BMW M5 is a combination of elegance, aggression, and raw power. Though the car was already exceptionally fast, Mansory’s enhancements emphasize the philosophy that when it comes to performance and presence, there’s simply no such thing as too much.
