Lamborghini’s €3 Million Fenomeno Pushes Supercar Limits

As Monterey Car Week prepares to open its doors to some of the world’s most exclusive automotive showcases, Lamborghini has stolen the spotlight with the reveal of a dramatic new model. Named the Fenomeno, this latest creation continues the brand’s tradition of producing ultra-rare, high-performance machines that are as visually extreme as they are mechanically advanced. Following the spirit of Lamborghini’s past “few-off” models, the Fenomeno is based on the already outrageous Revuelto but takes things even further by adopting a heavily redesigned exterior and a handful of meaningful performance upgrades.

Fenomeno

At first glance, the Fenomeno unmistakably carries Lamborghini’s DNA—wild, sharp-edged, and unapologetically aggressive. It may not reach the same theatrical heights as the iconic Veneno, yet it certainly isn’t far behind. Despite its connection to the Revuelto, the Fenomeno stands apart with unique bodywork and detailing that carve out its own presence in the Lamborghini family. At the front, razor-like LED headlights flank a vented hood, where two oversized extraction outlets add both function and drama. The redesigned bumper incorporates a custom splitter with a painted accent stripe, reinforcing the car’s track-bred aesthetic. Sitting impossibly low to the ground, with its wheels tucked perfectly into the arches, the car gives off the impression of being factory-lowered—an effect that heightens its already radical character.

Moving along the sides, every panel has been reimagined. Behind the doors sit two massive air intakes that channel cooling air to the engine and further emphasize the car’s aggressive stance. The rear of the Fenomeno is equally bold. Lamborghini has opted for extensive use of exposed carbon fiber, including a bespoke engine cover, while the entire rear section has been reshaped. Signature design cues include Y-shaped LED taillights and four centrally mounted exhaust outlets, all of which highlight the car’s focus on uncompromising performance and style.

The cabin, however, remains largely consistent with the Revuelto. Familiar elements such as the flat-bottom steering wheel, floating central display, digital driver’s cluster, and passenger-side infotainment screen have been carried over. While Lamborghini hasn’t introduced major interior changes, buyers of a car at this level are not typically concerned with new infotainment gimmicks—the exclusivity and performance are the real draw.

Underneath its sculpted carbon skin lies a modified version of the Revuelto’s hybrid V12 powertrain. The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 has been tuned to deliver 833 horsepower, up from the standard 814 hp. Complementing this is a larger 7 kWh lithium-ion battery, which not only enhances electric assistance but also pushes total system output to 1,065 hp, representing a 64-hp increase over the Revuelto. This larger battery extends the car’s pure electric range to about 20 kilometers. On the performance side, the Fenomeno rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, a tenth quicker than its sibling, while still reaching a blistering 350 km/h top speed.

Production is, of course, extremely limited. Lamborghini plans to build only 29 units of the Fenomeno, each with an estimated price tag starting around €3 million. Given the brand’s loyal following and the model’s exclusivity, simply securing an allocation may prove to be the greatest challenge of all.
