Chevrolet is marking a major milestone — 100 years of operations in Brazil — with the launch of a special edition of its popular S10 pickup truck. This limited-run model features unique exterior styling enhancements and upgraded suspension components, making it a standout offering for the Brazilian market. Only 100 examples of this commemorative S10 will be produced, and all will be sold exclusively in Brazil.

For those unfamiliar, the Chevrolet S10 is essentially the updated version of the previous generation Colorado, tailored for markets outside the United States. In 2023, the S10 received a major facelift, adopting design cues and technology upgrades that aligned it more closely with the newer American Colorado, offering a fresher and more modern appearance.

The new "100 Years Edition" brings several visual and functional upgrades to the table. It features a redesigned front bumper that incorporates an additional set of LED lights for enhanced visibility and style. Other exterior changes include a sportier hood attachment, a robust roll bar with body-colored side arms, and distinctive mountain-themed decals. The entire vehicle is finished in an exclusive shade called Dunas White, which is further accented by black exterior elements to enhance its rugged look.

Built on the foundation of the high-end Z71 trim, the 100 Years Edition boasts a comprehensive suite of features. These include an 8-inch digital driver display, an 11-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone charging, and a full range of advanced driver assistance technologies (ADAS). Inside the cabin, the truck is fitted with special upholstery featuring red stitching on the seats and red accents on the dashboard, adding a sporty and celebratory flair.

Perhaps the most notable mechanical improvement is the upgraded suspension system, developed in collaboration with Ironman, a well-known name in off-road equipment. The S10's front springs and shocks have been revised, and the rear leaf springs have been retuned, resulting in a 30mm increase in ground clearance. Paired with 18-inch wheels and Scorpion Plus All-Terrain tires, these upgrades significantly enhance the truck's off-road capabilities.

Under the hood, the S10 retains its reliable 2.8-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine, producing 204 horsepower and 510Nm of torque. While the engine’s basic specs remain unchanged, recent updates — including AI-driven calibration adjustments — have improved both its performance and fuel efficiency. Additionally, for the 2026 model year, Chevrolet introduced a new filter system that cuts harmful emissions by up to 84%.

The Chevrolet S10 100 Years Edition is now available for order in Brazil, priced at R$325,690 (approximately $57,300). Given the very limited production run of just 100 units, interested buyers will need to move quickly. Chevrolet has also announced plans to release 100 Years special editions of the Onix hatchback and the Tracker SUV in the near future.
