The first examples of the new 2022 Honda Civic Sedan arrived at stores throughout the country today, as the automaker revealed official price and range details for its latest compact model.
The base LX variant of Honda's 11th generation 2022 Civic Sedan starts at $22,695, including a $995 destination fee.
The Civic 2022 will come standard with an enhanced Sensing suite of driver-assistance technologies, including Traffic Jam Assist, a redesigned Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keep Assist systems.
The base LX grade model comes with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 158 HP with a CVT transmission. A 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a partly digital instrument cluster, and LED headlights are standard.
The 2022 Civic Sport begins at $24,095 and includes, among other things, 18-inch alloy wheels, black exterior highlights, an enhanced 8-speaker audio system, model-specific interior, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, and a Sport driving mode.
The EX trim level costs $25,695 and is powered by Honda's turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. Unfortunately, the CVT is the sole gearbox option here, with Honda claiming upgrades for improved responsiveness.
Blind-spot monitoring, a power-operated sunroof, heated seats, and dual-zone temperature control are also standard on the 2022 Civic EX.
The Touring model, which starts at $29,295 and includes power-adjustable leather seats, a larger 9-inch infotainment system with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Bose premium sound system, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and wireless smartphone charging, sits at the top of the 2022 Civic Sedan lineup.
