Roewe revealed a production version of the iMax 8 MPV car which is based on the iM8 concept car. The iMax 8 is based on the Maxus G20 which is a luxury minivan or MPV by Maxus. Maxus and Roewe are both sub brands for SAIC.
Under the hood, Roewe iMax 8 uses a 1.5-liter turbo with 180 hp but buyers who require more power can go for the 2.0-liter version with 234 hp. There will be a fully electric version of the Roewe iMax 8 but there is no technical details about it yet and all we know is that it is it will have around 200 hp of output.
Other highlights are fully digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, capitan chairs, keyless entry and start, and infotainment screen.
Roewe iMax 8 will enter Chinese market by this fall.
