The 2024 Porsche Cayenne has been officially announced and is set to debut soon. The new model will feature a number of updates and improvements, including a redesigned exterior and interior, as well as new technology and performance enhancements.

One of the most notable changes to the 2024 Cayenne is its updated exterior design. An upgraded 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 has replaced the Cayenne S's old V6 engine. The eight-cylinder mill has an increase of 34 horsepower and 37 lb-ft over the six-cylinder, producing 468 horsepower and 442 lb-ft. With the optional Sport Chrono Package, both the basic model and the Coupe with this engine can reach 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. It can go as fast as 169 mph.

The top-of-the-line Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT features a 650-hp twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 tune, which is a boost of 19 horsepower over the outgoing model. With a top speed of 189 mph, this model can accelerate to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds.

In addition, the Turbo GT includes standard performance equipment including titanium exhaust pipes, rear-wheel steering, air suspension, and composite ceramic brakes.

New, two-valve shocks with distinct rebound and compression stages are installed in the Cayenne, S, and E-Hybrid. It comes equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management. The company asserts that the new configuration offers better pitch-and-roll control.

The other variants can be ordered without the innovative air suspension technology that is standard on the Turbo GT. The system, according to the manufacturer, distinguishes between the Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus driving modes more clearly.

In terms of performance enhancements, the 2024 Cayenne is expected to feature improved handling and suspension systems. It may also offer advanced driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning.
