VinFast Has Announced Pricing For Canada And Europe

VinFast is continuing its global expansion and has just released pricing for the VF 8 and VF 9 in Canada as well as some European regions. VinFast will begin deliveries of the two electric SUVs in the second half of 2022, starting with the Great White North. The VF 8 and VF 9 will be available in Eco and Plus models.

Starting with the VF 8 Eco, which comes with two battery options: one with 420 km of range and the other with 471 km of range. The VF 8 Eco can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and costs CA$50,850 for the smaller battery and CA$51,250 for the larger battery.

The VF 8 Plus is the next model. This model is also available with two battery options, each with a range of 400 and 447 kilometers. The VF 8 Plus can reach 100 kilometers per hour in 5.5 seconds. Prices for the VF 8 Plus range from CA$59,350 to CA$59,750. The VinFast VF 9 is also available in Eco and Plus versions, with two battery options. The smaller battery has a range of 438 km in the Eco and 423 km in the Plus, while the larger battery has a range of 594 km and 580 km.

With the lesser battery, the VF 9 Eco costs CA$69,150, and the VF 9 Plus costs CA$75,650, rising to CA$69,750 and CA$76,250 with the larger battery. With the base battery, both the Eco and Plus models reach 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, while the larger battery takes 6.5 seconds.

Prices for the VF 8 and VF 9 in France, Germany, and the Netherlands have been revealed, with the VF 8 and VF 9 available in Eco and Plus versions, with a choice of an 82 kWh or an 87.7 kWh battery.

In France, the VF 8 Eco with the base battery costs €43,050, with the larger battery costing €300 more. Prices for the VF 8 Plus range from €50,900 to €51,200 depending on the battery, while the VF 9 starts at €58,700 and goes up to €64,100.

Customers can also subscribe to VinFast's battery subscription service, which starts at CA$139 per month for a fixed plan for the VF 8 and includes unlimited kilometers. For automobiles that will not be driven more than 500 kilometers, a flexible plan of CA$39 per month is also available. The VF 9 subscription costs CA$199 for a fixed plan and CA$59 for a flexible plan.

Subscription arrangements for batteries have also been announced for Europe. The fixed package provides unlimited miles and has a monthly membership charge of €120 for the VF 8 and €150 for the VF 9.

The VF 8 and VF 9 will also be offered with a €7,250 VinFast Smart Driving package, which will be available for €150 per month. Collision mitigation, highway driving aid, lane-change assist, advanced parking assist with remote parking and vehicle summon, voice assistant, 360-degree surround monitoring, and other features are included in this package. The flexible plan's pricing information has yet to be revealed.
