Updated Mercedes Benz E-Class L Introduced At 2020 Beijing Auto Show

Mercedes Benz has introduced an updated version of the facelifted E-Class L at the 2020 Beijing Auto Show. The updated E-Class L benefits the same changes as the regular model including the new exterior, new bumpers, new lights, and a new grille.

Long Wheelbase

The Mercedes Benz E-Class L is a long-wheelbase version of the normal E-Class designed for the Chinese market and it is 22 mm longer than the outgoing E-Class L. With 5,056 mm long, the E-Class L offers 121 mm more length and 140 mm more wheelbase.

Cabin

Inside the cabin, the E-Class L benefits a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 64 color ambient lighting, improved rear seats, foldable 7-inch touchscreen for rear passengers, and massaging seats.

Engines

Mercedes Benz E 280 L uses a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 181 hp and 280 nm of torque. This model can hit 100 kph in 8.7 seconds on the normal variant and 9.0 seconds on the AWD variant. The next version is called E 300 L and it uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 254 hp and 370 nm of torque. This variant can hit 100 kph in 6.6 seconds.

The last and the most powerful variant of the Mercedes Benz E-Class L is the Mercedes Benz E 350 L 4Matic with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can produce 295 hp and 400 nm of torque. Pricing for the E Class L starts from ¥430,800 and tops out at ¥642,800.
