Brabus is a famous German car tuner that we love very much. The company surprises us with wonderful after-market tunings every time and we appreciate it so much. Now it is the Mercedes-AMG A45 S’ turn to go under some changes and turn into a hyper hatch with 444 hp, thanks to Brabus.
The car tuner has changed the name of the model as well. Now we can call the Mercedes ‘Brabus B45’. B stands for the company’s initial. The original B45 dates back to seven years ago.
The new Mercedes AMG A45 S is a powerful hot hatchback and is loved by many. Well, you know the car tuners, these things do not stop them! Power, power, power. All they look for is more power.
Speaking of power, the base Mercedes AMG A45 S is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, ready to generate 416 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, but apparently, that is not enough for some people (meaning the car tuner companies).
What Brabus really looks for, is an engine which is able to produce 444 hp and 550 Nm of torque. Now the new beast can hit 100 km is 3.7 seconds, two-then of seconds less than the original Mercedes. We should note that Brabus B45’s top speed is the same as Mercedes AMG A45 S, 168 km/h.
The whole upgrade package was not about the specs only. It has done some stuff to the appearance as well. Now the B45 is 1.2 inches closer to the ground, pairing with 20-inch Brabus Monoblock, wrapped by Continental tires.
The interior has seen some changes as well, such as adding bespoke leather upholstery, aluminum pedals, velour floor mats, and illuminated scuff plates.
