Thankfully, the wait is over since the BMW M5 CS has been teased by the company itself. Until this joyous moment, we had to spend the days with spy shots only. The model will be debuted next month and that can be the first best news of 2021.
Markus Flasch, The BMW M CEO, is the person who reveals the model and provide us with some information in this short video.
The gorgeous M5 CS (We haven’t seen it completely yet but we sure know it is gorgeous), is based on M5 Competition. Its grille, as it is shown in the teaser, has a special and unique design, which comes with a beautiful gold bronze surround. The yellow headlights are motorsport-inspired. The wheels are forged out of aluminum and the carbon ceramic brakes that are paired with red calipers, add to the grace of the all-new BMW M5 CS.
Unfortunately, the video does not show us anything from the cabin, but according to what Mr. Flasch says, the fiber bucket seats are from the M3 and M4 models. He also stated that the new model is a “true four seater”, so we guess something special and exciting is going in in rear part of the cabin.
Mr. Flasch did not share the specific details, since he does not want to spoil the good parts before the official debut, but he did say that M5 CS is able to generate 626 horsepower. The model is more powerful than the M5 Competition, since the latter’s twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine produces 616 horsepower. The new M5 CS is in a better shape as well and it has lost almost 70 kg.
We expect the all-new BMW M5 CS to hit 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and the top speed to be 305 km/h.
