Rolls-Royce Introduced Its last V12 Coupe

The 2023 Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow will be the last new V12 coupe produced by Rolls-Royce; the firm says that all following versions will exclusively be electric.

The Thunderbolt land-speed record car from the 1930s, which used not one, but two V12 engines to establish a record of 357.497 mph at Bonneville, served as the model for the Black Arrow.

It has a front that is silver and a back that is black, with yellow trim to emphasize the transition. Celebration Silver and Black Diamond, specifically, with a glass-infused topcoat added for further emphasis to the black areas. This is one of the most intricate paints Rolls-Royce has ever produced, with the colors and application methods being improved over the course of 18 months.

A large black arrow with a yellow circle was painted on the side of Thunderbolt because its polished aluminum body made it difficult to notice the salt flats. As a result, the wheels and bumper inserts on the Black Arrow are yellow.

Within, there is a lot more yellow to be seen. It acts as trim on the doors and dash, and it covers the front seats and the steering wheel. Yellow trim surrounds the unique clock on the dash, which also displays the Thunderbolt's record-breaking speed from 1938. The back seats also have yellow trim, and the distinctive door sills feature a yellow dot inside an arrow designating the vehicle as one of the 12 Wraith Black Arrow variants.

Club Leather is a brand-new material used in the interior of the Wraith. Also, Thunderbolt's record-breaking run in 1938's night sky over Bonneville is depicted by the 2,117 fiber-optic lights that are strung up in a sequence.

The Black Badge Wraith's 624 horsepower and 642 pound-feet of torque remain the same, but the engine receives a special yellow-trimmed emblem designating it as the final V12.

There will only be 12 Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith Black Arrows produced, and all 12 have already been reserved.
