Nissan GT-R Changes For 2024

Nissan finally made the GT-R public. The 2024 GT-R has a number of mostly minor improvements. New front and back fascias, a new grille, and improved wings have all been added by designers. On the other hand, the GT-R Nismo has a redesigned rear wing with swan neck-style supports and a surface area that is almost 10% larger. A new front lip, rear diffuser, and canards have been added to the exterior of the company's premier sports vehicle. The model also includes Stealth Gray, a brand-new Nismo-only shade.

The manufacturer claims that when downforce rises and the drag coefficient stays the same at 0.26, this significantly improves the car's already excellent aerodynamic performance. According to Nissan, researchers carefully examined the grille's mesh in order to increase cooling and lessen drag.

For 2024, the GT-R T-spec will also be back. A GT-R Nismo limited edition will join the T-Spec in Japan. It improves upon the GT-R Premium and comes in classic hues like Millennium Jade and Midnight Purple. The 20-inch forged wheels on the GT-R T-spec are painted gold. They are supported by brakes made of carbon ceramic and taken from the GT-R Nismo.

A Nismo-tuned car dynamic control system, larger front fenders, and unique badging are other highlights. The special edition's interior has dark Mori Green suede and semi-aniline leather upholstery.

A well-known 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 565 horsepower and 632 Nm of torque powers the vehicle. It is coupled to an all-wheel drive system that receives power from a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The VR38DETT engine in the GT-R Nismo has been updated to produce 600 horsepower and 651 pound-feet of torque. The Nismo gains from a number of performance improvements, including a new limited-slip front differential, even if the engine remains the same. Refined suspension tuning is also mentioned in the Japanese release, however, it has not been verified for America.

The GT-R Nismo will be available in the United States, with an optional Nismo Appearance Package. It has 20-inch forged wheels with red highlights, a one-of-a-kind clear coat carbon fiber hood, and a unique engine cover. The 2024 Nissan GT-R will hit dealerships in the United States this spring, followed by the Nismo variant in the summer.
