Yesterday, Changan unveiled the interior photos of its new 4th-generation CS75 Plus SUV. The official release of this vehicle is anticipated in the latter half of the year. For comparison, the current model of the Changan CS75 Plus is priced between $16,200 and $20,600.
This new SUV measures 4770 mm in length, 1910 mm in width, and 1695 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2800 mm. This makes it 60 mm longer and 45 mm wider than its predecessor, the 3rd-generation CS75 Plus. The wheelbase has also increased by 90 mm. The front of the vehicle features a frameless grille design, but with a new internal structure that includes dot-matrix chrome elements for decoration. The headlight assembly has been updated as well, now featuring a light strip that runs across the top of the grille, with three additional light strips located below it on each side. The Changan logo on the front can also be illuminated. At the back, the taillights consist of multiple individual light units in a through-type design, making the vehicle easily recognizable. The Changan logo on the rear can also light up. The high-mounted brake light has been reduced to a single unit, and the previous double-sided chrome exhaust decoration has been replaced with a hidden exhaust layout.
Inside the SUV, the most striking feature is the triple-screen setup, which includes a full LCD instrument panel, a central control screen, and a co-pilot entertainment screen. Physical buttons on the center console have been greatly reduced, creating a cleaner look. The console also has two wireless charging pads for mobile phones and two cup holders.
The steering wheel of the new CS75 Plus is designed with a double-spoke style. The co-pilot seat is described as zero-gravity, offering exceptional comfort. Both the seats and door trims feature perforated designs. Additionally, a light strip runs beneath the triple-screen, adding to the interior ambiance.
The latest Changan CS75 Plus continues to be powered by a gasoline engine. Currently, only the 1.5T engine variant has been announced, with two power options: one delivering 185 horsepower and the other 189 horsepower. It remains uncertain if the 2.0T engine option will be available in this new model.
In summary, the 4th-generation Changan CS75 Plus SUV showcases several updates and improvements both in its exterior and interior design. With a larger size, updated light features, and a modernized interior, it aims to offer a more advanced and comfortable driving experience. The upcoming release is highly anticipated, and potential buyers are eager to see if additional engine options will be announced closer to the launch date.
