2026 Honda CR-V Pricing Revealed

Author: |

Following the reveal of the updated 2026 CR-V last month, Honda has now confirmed full pricing details as the popular compact SUV begins arriving at dealerships across the United States. While the new model does carry a modest price increase compared to its 2025 predecessor, the adjustments are relatively minor and are unlikely to deter most buyers. In fact, the restrained pricing strategy may come as welcome news in a market where vehicle costs have risen sharply in recent years. A key factor behind this stability is local manufacturing, as the CR-V is produced in North America, with a portion of production shifting from Canada to U.S. facilities. This move helps reduce exposure to tariffs introduced during the Trump administration, allowing Honda to better control costs.

The most notable addition to the 2026 CR-V lineup is the introduction of the TrailSport Hybrid, a new variant designed to tap into growing consumer interest in adventure-inspired vehicles. This version brings a tougher visual identity and functional upgrades that set it apart from other trims. Among its distinguishing features are unique front and rear bumper treatments, exclusive 18-inch Shark Gray alloy wheels, and Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires, giving the TrailSport a more rugged stance and improved capability for light off-road use. The TrailSport Hybrid enters the range with a starting price of $38,800, which rises to $40,195 once the mandatory $1,395 destination charge is included.

Within the broader CR-V lineup, the TrailSport Hybrid sits near the upper end of the price spectrum, although it is not the most expensive option available. That distinction goes to the Sport-L Hybrid with all-wheel drive, priced from $41,620, and the range-topping Sport Touring Hybrid, which starts at $43,645. These higher trims emphasize premium features and enhanced technology, appealing to buyers seeking a more upscale compact SUV experience.

At the opposite end of the lineup, affordability remains a strong selling point. The entry-level 2026 CR-V LX with front-wheel drive starts at $32,315, representing an $820 increase over last year’s model. From there, buyers can step up through a wide range of configurations, including the LX AWD at $33,815, EX 2WD at $34,545, EX AWD at $36,045, EX-L 2WD at $36,795, and EX-L AWD at $38,295. Hybrid options further expand the selection, with the Sport Hybrid 2WD starting at $37,025, the Sport Hybrid AWD at $38,525, and the Sport-L Hybrid 2WD priced from $40,120.

Under the hood, the 2026 CR-V continues to offer two distinct powertrain options. Standard gasoline models are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 190 horsepower, paired with a continuously variable transmission. Buyers opting for a hybrid benefit from a dual-motor setup that delivers a combined output of 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque, offering stronger performance and improved efficiency.

With more than 400,000 units sold in 2024, the CR-V remains one of Honda’s best-selling vehicles. The refreshed 2026 model, particularly with the addition of the TrailSport Hybrid, is expected to build on that momentum and further strengthen the CR-V’s position in the competitive compact SUV segment.
