The Mercedes-AMG E 63 S Estate with its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 603 horsepower, is one of the quickest family vehicles on the market. Posaidon, a German tuner, has recently released an updated version of the E 63 S Estate with around 1,000 horsepower.
Posaidon provides three separate E 63 S upgrade packages. The first, known as the RS 830, features enhanced turbochargers, a sports air filter, and unique downpipes with sports catalytic converters. The tuner also modified the engine and gearbox software, resulting in a car with 830 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque.
These enhancements allow the E 63 S Estate to reach 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a max speed of 350 km/h.
The tuner also sells an RS 830+ kit. This package has the same modifications as the basic RS 830, but it also includes a pair of new ball-bearing turbochargers, resulting in 880 horsepower and 1,200 Nm. This model accelerates to 62 mph in in 3.1 seconds.
Last but not least, an even more powerful variation with the same RS 830+ moniker is available. Posaidon has ported the cylinder heads and valve seats, as well as installed a water/methanol injection system, so the engine now produces 940 horsepower and 1,280 Nm, allowing it to reach 62 mph in less than 3 seconds.
Posaidon also provides a simple PowerBox that boosts power to 707 horses and 1,000 Nm for those customers who do not desire any mechanical improvements.
