We have all seen and heard of the Hennessey Venom, but our understanding from the new model and the old ones, which were Venom GT and Venom F5, are totally different. The Venom GT was Hennessey’s hypercar, based on Lotus Elise. The model could hit 270 miles per hour. On the other hand, we know Venom F5, an upcoming model with maximum speed of 300 miles per hour.
The 2021 Hennessey Venom 800 Supercharge Ford F-150, has nothing in common with the two, but it can reach 100 km/h in less than 4 second! The Venom 800 F-150, is based on Ford’s full-size vehicle. Of course, it lacks the 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 engine that the original pick-up has.
Instead, Hennessey has decided to use a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine under the strong hood. The regular fuel systems are not enough for this furious monster. It also needs new cold-air induction system, as well as a new exhaust.
The Hennessey Venom 800 Supercharge Ford F-150, was designed to knock out another beast, also known as Ram 1500 TRX. So, that is why a powerful power system is needed to double the horsepower (805 horsepower!). This monster truck’s engine is capable of producing almost 986Nm of torque. According to Hennessey itself, the engine is strong enough to hits 0-100 km/h in only 3.6 seconds.
The engine comes with Brembo brakes (that have been upgraded). The suspension, the 20-inch wheels and the 35-inch tires are designed to increase the off-road ability and function. Other features include a regular Hennessey grill and bumpers and off-road lights. The front bumper gets to have LED lights.
Only 100 units of the beasty 2021 Hennessey Venom 800 Supercharge Ford F-150 will be made, and we assure you that they are NOT going to be cheap!
