Mercedes-Benz is bidding farewell to the current-generation CLA in style, with the introduction of the CLA 45 S Final Edition. This special variant serves as a celebratory send-off for the outgoing model and will make its way to the U.S. market early next year. Packed with performance and style enhancements, the Final Edition brings a bold and exclusive character to the sleek compact four-door coupe.
On the outside, the CLA 45 S Final Edition wears a distinctive Manufaktur Mountain Grey Magno paint finish, which gives it a unique satin look. This sophisticated color is paired with bold black and yellow graphics, tastefully applied to the front doors and side mirror caps. The contrasting theme carries over to the 19-inch forged wheels, which are finished in matte black and feature striking yellow accents around the rim, enhancing the car’s aggressive yet refined aesthetic. Further exterior enhancements include a silver chrome fuel filler cap and gloss black brake calipers that bear the AMG logo in white, adding a sporty and premium touch.
In terms of aerodynamics and visual appeal, the Final Edition comes equipped with both the AMG Night Plus and AMG Aerodynamics Plus packages. These upgrades add gloss black and black chrome elements to various exterior trim pieces and include functional components like a fixed rear spoiler, larger front splitter, and aerodynamic flics to enhance downforce and performance at high speeds.
Inside the cabin, the AMG identity continues with exclusive AMG Performance seats upholstered in a blend of black MB-Tex and microfiber. These seats also feature yellow contrast stitching and are embroidered with the “45 S” logo on the headrests. The interior is further enriched by a Nappa leather and microfiber AMG Performance steering wheel, AMG floor mats with yellow stitching, illuminated door sills, and a center console badge that proudly reads “45 S Final Edition.”
Under the hood lies a potent 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering an impressive 416 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system, the car is capable of launching from 0 to 96 km/h in just four seconds. The U.S. version will have an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h, while the European variant stretches that limit to 270 km/h and can also be configured as a wagon or in Night Black Uni paint.
While Mercedes has not disclosed the price, the CLA 45 S Final Edition will be produced in limited numbers, ensuring exclusivity. Its combination of design flair, high performance, and rarity makes it a compelling choice for collectors and enthusiasts alike, marking a stylish end for a standout model in the AMG lineup.
