I-Force Max is the name of the new engine by Toyota. It’s a V6 and would take the place of the Toyota’s free-breathing V8 of the 2021 Toyota Tundra. This new engine is much compact and also lighter, but that doesn’t mean it has lower power too. The 2022 model of this Truck uses this V6 to show other c companies like BMW, they go well can the “i” coded engines too.
The engine is pictured with the blue outfit. That can be the result of an electric assistance. This engine has three intake runners on each side, and Bob Carter, the executive vice president of sales, promises more power than the previous V8.
There are many information remains to know. First of all, its still unclear this engine is a hybrid one or the plug-in hybrid, and secondly the all-new Tundra is much powerful than the surpass Land Cruiser, but how much with the electric engine in circuit.
By the way, the Tundra or the LC300 would be all around the world with three types of engines. The biggest and most impressive one is a 3.5-liter V6 with two snails, a very efficient lump that channels 409 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
By the way, the one firm which can compete with this Japanese company is Ford, while it has already its very own hybrid twin-turbo V6 in the guise of the Power Boost. The out put for this engine is 430 hp and delivers 773 Nm of torque to the wheels.
But Toyota with this V6 didn’t just aim for a more compact engine, its can be much more stable as the coil springs instead of leaf-springs are used to damp as much as road vibration through the ladder frame at the expense of towing capacity.
I think it’s a bad idea not to offer a V8/leaf spring option considered as part of towe package
I want a set of the wheels in above photo. Does anyone know what vehicle currently uses the wheels on the brown Tundra rendering above? I want to buy a set of 6 bolt like those but can't find them.
