The first ever Ford’s Electric Car, Mach-E is starting its deliveries’ and now its on the way to the US market. Although Mustang has the 50,000 units target for the first year, still just fewer than 10,000 units are built. As the alternative solution, Ford is going to use its Chinese alley, Changan, to do the rest of production.
Ford Mustang Mach-E to get the 50,000 units for the first year on the market needs to go to China, in the part of Changan company. A part of the manufacturer’s “Best of Ford, Best of China” strategy to “offer Chinese customers industry-leading smart vehicles and advanced technologies,” the local production of the Mach-E will be managed by Changan-Ford. And for now, these Mach-E’s would be jut for the Chinses customers.
To make the car more exclusive for the East market, the GT trim face is planned for it. The car would look some how different but the heart of it remains the same as the North American and European models. Of course, this company hasn’t yet clarified the exact time of production. But it seems it wouldn’t happened until the summer and customers should wait now.
an unprecedented move by a global automaker to locally manufacture high-performance editions
