Collaborations between automakers and Hollywood studios have become a long-standing marketing tradition, blending the worlds of film, television, and automotive design to create collectible vehicles with pop culture appeal. From Hyundai’s Iron Man Edition Kona introduced six years ago to countless Bond and Batman tie-ins, such partnerships give carmakers an opportunity to reach new audiences in creative ways. Now, Stellantis is joining the trend with a collaboration that taps into one of Netflix’s biggest global hits — Stranger Things. To celebrate the show’s highly anticipated fifth and final season, Stellantis has unveiled a limited-edition version of the Fiat Abarth Pulse, which will be sold in Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina.
The Abarth Pulse, introduced a few years ago, serves as a performance-oriented spin on Fiat’s small crossover, blending compact practicality with sporty flair. Though it may not be the most visually aggressive hot crossover on the market, it packs a surprising punch under the hood. Power comes from a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 185 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque, giving it enough muscle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds. These specs place it among the livelier compact crossovers available in Latin American markets, and the Stranger Things edition aims to inject an extra dose of style and exclusivity into the mix.
Fiat will produce only 511 units of the Abarth Pulse Stranger Things Edition — a nod to the show’s eerie atmosphere and numerological symbolism. Each car will wear unique exterior graphics and themed interior details to set it apart from the regular Abarth Pulse. Buyers can choose between two striking paint options: red with a black roof, or a fully black finish accented by red details. Both colorways feature contrasting side graphics and a subtle Stranger Things logo, giving the crossover a darker, supernatural-inspired vibe. On the red model, black mirrors, window frames, and roof panels complete the look, while the black variant reverses the color scheme with red mirrors and a red front splitter. The bold side decals — somewhat resembling stylized tribal tattoos — may divide opinion, but they certainly help the vehicle stand out.
Inside, Fiat continues the theme with black leather upholstery featuring a unique stitched pattern and red Stranger Things logos embroidered into the seatbacks. A numbered dashboard plaque identifies each vehicle’s production number, emphasizing its collectible status. Other special touches include a Stranger Things-branded engine cover and custom scuff plates at the door sills, adding subtle references to the Netflix series throughout the design.
While Fiat has yet to reveal official pricing for the limited-edition Abarth Pulse, it’s clear that the model represents more than a simple cosmetic upgrade. By merging automotive enthusiasm with pop culture fandom, Stellantis and Netflix are aiming to turn this crossover into a must-have collector’s item for fans of both performance cars and the Stranger Things universe.
