Chery is preparing to launch a new model under its Fulwin brand — the Fulwin T11, a 6-seater Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) SUV. Recently, several specifications and images of the vehicle were disclosed by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), shedding light on what consumers can expect from this upcoming model. Originally introduced as a concept vehicle in September 2023, the Fulwin T11 first made its public appearance at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show. Later that year, in December, the first prototype emerged from the production line, albeit heavily camouflaged. Interestingly, the prototype bore playful slogans such as “Refrigerator,” “Color TV,” “Large Sofa,” and “I heard that this car is worth 1 million yuan,” sparking both curiosity and buzz in the automotive community.

From a design perspective, the production-ready Fulwin T11 presents some notable changes from the concept version. The front fascia features a prominent waterfall-style grille with vertical chrome slats, paired with a trapezoidal lower intake and sleek, narrow headlights that contribute to a bold and modern look. At the rear, the SUV incorporates a full-width taillight bar and chrome accents along the lower edge of the bumper, elements that closely resemble the original concept car's styling.

In terms of size, the Fulwin T11 is a full-size SUV, measuring 5,205 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a generous wheelbase of 3,120 mm. Depending on the configuration, the curb weight ranges between 2,452 kg and 2,635 kg. Buyers will be able to choose from several optional features, including a lifetime warranty badge, multiple radar and camera configurations (both side and rear), unique taillight styles, various rim designs, and different branding options for the rear.

When it comes to wheels, the Fulwin T11 will support three rim sizes: 255/45R20, 255/50R20, and 255/45R21, offering both visual variety and flexibility in ride dynamics. Although the finalized interior has yet to be revealed, earlier concept images suggest a highly digitalized cabin. The dashboard may feature a floating dual-screen setup that includes a central touchscreen for infotainment and a co-pilot display for entertainment. Additional elements include a wide rectangular LCD instrument panel, a double-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and cleverly hidden air-conditioning vents, all pointing to a tech-forward, driver-focused interior.

Under the hood, the Fulwin T11 will be powered by a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine acting as a range extender, capable of producing up to 154 horsepower. The SUV is expected to achieve a top speed of 180 km/h. It will be paired with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, though exact details regarding the battery’s capacity, electric motor output, and full electric driving range have not yet been released. With this model, Chery aims to blend practicality, performance, and premium features into a spacious electric SUV, signaling a strong entry into China’s competitive new energy vehicle market.
