There are usually many pranks in automotive industry in April Fools’ day such as the recent Voltswagen which was rapidly spread through all over the web. However, our colleagues in Carsbite needed some more refresh and sporty joke for this special day and got started to do some serious surgery on BMW G20. The result was absolutely stunning and decided to publish it on our website.
The BMW G20 is the Seventh generation of 3 series which was unveiled at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. It is currently available in Sedan, Station Wagon and M3 version but what about the pickup one? Therefore, we made a digital render out of it which you could see in the picture above and it is really gorgeous. The BMW G20 330i has a 2-liter engine producing 255bhp at 5000rpm and 295lb-ft at 1550rpm. This car is basically rear-wheel drive which is so good for the pickup version and could hit 62mph in just 5.8 seconds. We think that this time could be much better in pickup version due to the fact that it must be much lighter comparing to the sedan or station version. We could also imagine this pretty pickup with same engine as 340i. This version has a 3-liter engine producing 369bhp and could hit 62mph in just 4.4 seconds.
We already know that BMW do not like to have a pickup version specially based on 3 series but according to the above picture, we would be in love with it and no doubt to buy one if there is any chance to have one!
