Wuling has revealed that its newly launched compact electric car, the Binguo S—also marketed as the Bingo S in some regions—has already generated strong consumer interest. According to the company’s announcement on social media, the model has accumulated 55,840 orders since its release, with 7,250 units successfully delivered to customers. The small all-electric vehicle officially entered the Chinese market on September 27, coming in four different trim levels. Pricing ranges between $9,400 and $11,300, but with available replacement subsidies, the effective cost drops slightly, ranging from around $9,000 to $10,900, making it an affordable option for budget-conscious buyers.

In terms of design, the Binguo S retains the fun and rounded appearance familiar from the original Binguo and the slightly larger Binguo Plus. It comes with retro-style polygonal headlights that add a nostalgic flair, and customers are given the option to personalize their cars with two-tone body colors and various wheel designs. The rear design incorporates a full-width tail light strip paired with a silver accent at the lower bumper, enhancing its stylish and youthful appeal. Dimension-wise, the vehicle measures 4,265 mm long, 1,785 mm wide, and 1,600 mm tall, riding on a 2,610 mm wheelbase. Despite being compact, it is configured as a five-seater, with Wuling emphasizing its surprisingly roomy cabin for this segment. Passengers in the front enjoy 1,008 mm of headroom, while the second row offers a seat pitch of 882 mm, allowing for reasonable comfort on daily drives.

Inside the cabin, buyers can choose between two interior themes: a bright Soft White or a cozier Warm Brown. The dashboard setup includes an 8.88-inch digital instrument display and a large 12.8-inch floating central touchscreen. Standard features include Bluetooth connectivity, push-button start, automatic headlamps, and cruise control. Higher-spec trims further enrich the experience with advanced amenities such as a panoramic camera system for easier parking, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and heated as well as power-folding mirrors. The infotainment system is powered by Wuling’s Lingyu AI platform, which supports Hicar, Carlink, and Apple CarPlay. Additional convenience comes from a practical hollowed-out secondary dashboard and a 50W wireless charging pad.

Under the hood, the Binguo S is driven by a single electric motor that produces up to 75 kW. Buyers can select between two lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack options: a 31.9 kWh version that delivers an estimated 325 km of CLTC range and a larger 41.9 kWh pack capable of 430 km. The car also supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged from 30% to 80% in roughly 35 minutes.

Wuling equips the model with its proprietary Shenlian battery, built with Modular Ultra-Safety Technology (MUST) to maximize durability and safety. On the safety side, the Binguo S is fitted with four airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and an auto-hold function, providing buyers with both peace of mind and modern protection features.
