With a striking design and second-row seats that can rotate 180 degrees, Kia has launched the electric EV9. The EV9 was previewed by a concept in 2021 and will serve as the company's flagship SUV.

A "digital tiger face" with vertical headlights and flowing daytime running lights is present on the front end. A fake skid plate, a wide lower intake, and a contoured hood connect them. The sharp fenders and wheel arches on the side command attention right away. They are connected by four-spoke wheels that feature a two-tone appearance and an aerodynamic design.

According to Kia, the crossover will be available in six- and seven-seat configurations with plenty of room for all passengers. Widescreen displays are housed in a "floating panoramic dashboard" on the EV9. The latter has a 5-inch display, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The ability of the seats in the second row to turn 180 degrees allows passengers to converse with those in the third row.

A distinctive center console, ambient lighting, and a light two-tone design are some more highlights. A column-mounted shifter, metallic details, and speaker grilles with a geometric design connect them.

The Kia EV9 is built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), and the digital instrument cluster suggests a range of more than 480 km.

Production is expected to begin this fall, with prices ranging from around $56,000 for the base model to more than $70,000 for the flagship trim.
