Jeep is celebrating today's eclipse by unveiling the new NightHawk package for the 2024 Gladiator, bringing a touch of darkness to the lineup. Priced at $5,295, this package offers an array of enhancements that elevate the mid-size truck's style and capability. Available exclusively on the entry-level Gladiator Sport, the NightHawk package gives the vehicle a distinct and refined off-road persona.

The exterior of the Gladiator Sport with the NightHawk package is adorned with black accents and rides on striking 20-inch gloss black aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. The addition of deep tinted windows and a body-colored hard top further enhances its sleek appearance. Complementing these features are body-color fender flares, rock rails, and power heated side mirrors. The package offers a choice of exterior colors, including Anvil, Black, Bright White, Hydro Blue, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, and Silver Zynith, allowing buyers to personalize their Gladiator to their liking.

However, the NightHawk package isn't just about aesthetics. Underneath the surface, the Gladiator receives heavy-duty Dana 44 axles with 3.73 gearing and an "anti-spin" rear differential, enhancing its off-road prowess. Additional highlights include remote keyless entry, power windows and locks, and a standard automatic transmission, ensuring convenience and functionality for drivers.

Bill Peffer, Jeep's North American chief, remarked, "Today, many of us will witness a celestial marvel, and here, back on Earth, the Jeep brand is marking the occasion with the introduction of the 2024 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk." He emphasized the NightHawk's blend of cosmetic enhancements and capability upgrades, offering the best of both worlds to consumers.

Beyond the NightHawk package, all 2024 Gladiators come equipped with a potent 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, delivering 285 horsepower and 352 Nm of torque. The model features a spacious 5-foot bed and an updated interior, boasting a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system. Other interior highlights include air conditioning, an eight-speaker audio system, and LED interior lighting, ensuring a comfortable and connected driving experience.

With a starting price of $43,190, the Gladiator with the NightHawk package is positioned as an attractive option for buyers seeking a unique blend of style and capability. Production will be limited to 2,000 units for the U.S. and Canadian markets, adding to its exclusivity.
