This summer we were the audience of the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler competition. They tried to push each other away from the war flied but what they didn’t thought about, was another competitor in off-road cars industry. So now its time for Fiat-Chrysler to unveil its truck. Now AEC Europa is trying to make a gate way for this American car to come in the Europe.
Actually, AEC is the official importer of the Dodge and Ram autos to Europa. What made this entrance now some how hard, is the restrict regulations and standards of Europa. This car should now fit in this standards to can be imported. Even though, John R.F.Muratori, Chief operating officer of AEC Europa, sees the bright sight.
As he said, Trucks like RAM 1500 TRX has a demanding market around Europe, and this demanding is increasing every day. Now this car is passing the European test and maybe it will be ready to be delivered in December.
Ram TRX engine, unlike its giant platform, is on least powerful members of Helicat. This car has a Hellcat 6.2-liter V8 under the hood, which boasts 702-hp (523 kW) power and also 650 pound-feet (881 newton-meters). Longer intake and exhaust paths also have some effects on the power too but not that much which could make any difference.
One of the positive points of this truck is the high-performance ZF eight-speed transmission. Jeep Grand Cherokee TRACKHAWK, also uses the same transmission system. This system, has an upgraded chain, pinion, bearings, and clutches to adjust with the prodigious torque. This vehicle has also a Dana 60 solid rear axle, which is equipped with an electronic-locking rear differential. This is a very practical feature for lurid power slides and desert performance.
Due to the export regulation and taxes we expect some rises in the price but till now AEC Europe didn’t give any clear information about it. This car in the home country, starts from $69,995 and a $1,695 charge too. If there is request of more options, this price will increase (100,835). To predict the tag for a European country we should not forget the high value-added tax. And there are countries which calculate the taxes with capacity of engine.
Despite of all the issues which are concerned, some people don’t think that this car can fit in the European streets. But every thing has an aim and we hope that the company and AEC considered every single details.
