The engine of the new Navara is a 2.3-liter four-cylinder common rail diesel engine. The mill is linked to a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission, with two-wheel drive in the SL single-cab chassis and four-wheel drive in the rest of the range. Navara has a towing capacity of 750 kg (1653 lbs) and 3.5 tons (7716 lbs) without brakes and with brakes, respectively.
