Would You Pay $70k For Hangqi E-HS9?

Faw finally announced its electric SUV called Hangqi E-HS9 in the Chinese market and it is listed between $67k to $77k. The car will be available for potential buyers from September.

Hangqi E-HS9 is a luxurious SUV based on the E115 concept. Probably the most distinctive part is its front facia with vertical air inlet and LED headlights. Chrome C-pillar, a roof-mounted spoiler, and rear LED lightbar are other exterior features. There are 21 and 22-inch wheels as well.

Hangqi E-HS9 uses two electric motors one at the front and one at the rear. The front motor can produce 215 hp and 350 nm of torque and the rear one pumps out 295 hp and 420 nm of torque. The total output for Hangqi E-HS9 is 510 hp and 770 nm of torque. While the car operates a 92.4 kWh battery pack there is no word about its driving range.
