While Toyota officially announced the Corolla Cross two days ago in Thailand and stated that the new compact crossover will be available in various markets but the company mentioned that there is no plan for selling Corolla Cross in the U.S market yet.
Toyota Corolla Cross is a compact crossover developed on the TNGA platform. In terms of size, Corolla Cross measures 4,460 mm long, 1,825 mm wide, 1,620 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,640 mm. These numbers prove that Corolla Cross is larger than Toyota C-HR.
Buyers can choose a 1.8-liter petrol engine with 138 hp and 177 NM or 1.8-liter hybrid unit with 120 hp. Toyota Corolla Cross doesn't have any all-wheel drive system.
