Its every one’s dream, to make their own car. Everrati is one of the firms that makes its dreams. This small Company, really loves to convert some vehicles to electric cars, which has done many times before on the 964-generation Porsche 911, Land Rover Series IIA, and pagoda-body Mercedes-Benz SL. The other dreamy company is Superformance which is well-known for the Shelby Cobra and other models. The next step for these two companies is a cooperation on creating a GT40 with an electric powertrain.

Although till now this project is just a prototype, but the progress is going just in schedule. The GT40 chassis comes from Superformance and Everrati is taking care of the electric powertrain instead of the thumping, mid-mounted combustion engine. All the changes are done at the former US airbase in Upper Heyford, England.

By now, Everrati introduced an electric Porsche 911 with up to 500 hp to the market. If you want to know what you need as a combustion engine instead, just use a 7.0-liter Ford engine. Everrati now tries to put the best battery in the best location, which won’t change the weight and also CG of the car. The new GT40 is going to be as powerful as the original car, without any changes, but it runs on electric. Lance Stander as the Superformance CEO claims:

"While I will always love a V8-powered vehicle, there is no doubting the ultra-high performance of Everrati’s advanced EV powertrains. I am genuinely impressed with the lengths to which Everrati goes to maintain the weight distribution and character of the original car,"

Switching on the Superformance, in November 2020, they showed an EV car too. The MKIII-E which uses the Cobra body and an electric motor on the rear axle. Batteries are placed underneath the hood in front. By now, this vehicle didn’t go on sale.
