Volkswagen caddy is one of the most popular MPVs in the market with more than 2 million sales during its 40 years of production. Now for 2021 Volkswagen is planning to launch the Volkswagen Caddy 5.
Not only with new design and features but with a range of driving assistance systems. The 2021 VW Caddy 5 has new headlights and taillights to match other productions from the automaker.
The new Caddy 5 will be built on a new platform that is known as the MQB chassis. The new architecture is shared with many other vehicles of VW. Volkswagen also improved Caddy’s aerodynamics and they could manage to reduce the drag efficiency from 0.33 to 0.30. The suspension has also been improved to give the Caddy a better ride and control.
Volkswagen Caddy 5 will be available with a new TDI Euro6 engine. The new four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine needs 12 percent less fuel compared to its previous generation. Buyers also can get a 4Motion AWD system as an extra cost option of their Caddy that helps the car to be more capable in rough road conditions.
Inside the cabin, there are lots of enhancements and we can mention some of them like ACC active distance adjustment cruise system, Side Assist car side blind-spot warning system, Rear Traffic Alert rear warning system, etc., escort you with advanced technology, a fully digital instrument cluster panel and multi-function steering wheel.
The 2021 VW Caddy is going to be produced in Caddy Maxi, Caddy Cargo and Caddy Life versions and we are expecting them all to be officially revealed by the second half of 2021.
