The SAIC R sedan, which is part of SAIC's high-end pure electronic brand, also exceeded expectations at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show by bringing its first pure electric coupe SUV model, the ES33. According to the official definition, the SAIC R Car ES33 is positioned as a medium and wide coupe SUV, with rivals like the Tesla Model Y and the Weilai EC6, all of which we are very familiar with. It is reported that the new car will be officially launched in the second half of this year.

SAIC R Car ES33's final architecture incorporates the intelligent design philosophy. The final form is futuristic and athletic. All of the lines are complex and would appeal to younger customers. It's worth noting that the SAIC R car ES33 is still very thoughtful when it comes to playing with lighting. The split headlight configuration decides that the form will play further tricks, and the ES33's effect is also satisfying.

Moving to the side of the body, the coupe SUV's stance is ideally presented. The two-tone body is balanced with sharp edges, and the coupe is full of spice. The side door handles are mounted on the B-pillar. I'm not sure if this is a one-of-a-kind design for the prototype preview edition or a real representation of the mass-produced version.

To the right degree, the artist controlled the body dimensions and the subtly upturned stance of the rear buttocks. Both the atmosphere and the feeling of technology have been significantly enhanced by the modern taillight style. The new car also has a large diffuser feature in the lower bumper position, which caters to the placement of the whole car coupe SUV.

The new vehicle is mounted on R-high-energy TECH's intelligent body and includes a full-stack self-developed high-end intelligent driving solution PP-CEMTM. It has the world's first mass-produced Luminar lidar, which can track distances of up to 500 meters and has higher precision in detecting obstacles.

The first PREMIUM 4D imaging radar in China employs 4D sensing equipment. It can detect the vertical height of an object as well as altitude, speed, and direction angle, with a detection distance of more than 350 meters.
