Ford has debuted the latest addition to its lineup, the Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package, coinciding with today's solar eclipse. Embracing a "sinister new look," this model draws inspiration from celestial elements, with the Black Appearance Package introducing Shadow Black paint to various exterior components such as the roof, roll bar, mirror caps, and fender flares. Ford emphasizes that these accents create "striking contrasts with the Raptor's bold paint catalog," enhancing its overall aesthetic appeal.
Continuing the dark theme, the package incorporates a Matte Black steel bumper, skid plate, and tow hooks, further contributing to its aggressive appearance. Additionally, unique body-side graphics and hood decals are included as part of the package, adding a touch of exclusivity to the Bronco Raptor's design.
Priced at $4,995, the Black Appearance Package complements the Bronco Raptor's base price of $90,035 MSRP and $1,895 destination fee, bringing the total starting cost to $96,925. Ford plans to commence order acceptance later this month. While the modifications may seem relatively minor, Bronco Brand Manager Jason Hyde emphasizes the significance of the Bronco Raptor's appearance to customers, stating, "Customers choose Bronco Raptor for two reasons: its high-performance off-road capability and its distinctive appearance. The Black Appearance gives them a look that stands out on any trail and under any sky, even a total solar eclipse."
Beyond its striking appearance, the 2024 Bronco Raptor boasts impressive performance credentials, powered by a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine generating 418 horsepower and 596 Nm of torque. Paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission and standard four-wheel drive system, the model delivers exceptional off-road capabilities. Moreover, it features an off-road-focused suspension, an electronic-locking rear differential, and 17-inch wheels wrapped in massive 37-inch tires, ensuring optimal performance in various terrain conditions.
