Porsche has introduced it’s updated 718 Cayman and Boxter for 2021 for the U.S market. 2021 Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxter will get more standard features than before.
All 718 variants including the T, S and GTS models will get automatic dual-zone climate control system, electrochromic mirrors, heated seats and rain sensors as standard.
All variants equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission but buyers can opt for 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox called PDK. for the GT4 and GTS 4.0, it is the first time that buyers can get them with a PDK gearbox.
The base price for 2021 718 Cayman is $59k and for 718 Boxter is $62k, while for 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 buyers should charge $86k and for Boxter GTS 4.0 the starting price is $88,900.
Both models are equipped with a 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine. The naturally aspirated engine can produce 394 hp and 420 NM of torque. This power ables the 718 to hit 100 kph in 4.3 seconds and reaches to the top speed of 293 kph.
Other highlights for Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxter standard features are Sport Exhaust system, PASM Suspension, mechanical LSD, Porsche Torque Vectoring system and 20-inch wheels.
