The first smart electric flagship sedan from NIO has ushered in the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show. The new car will have a battery pack with a power of 150kWh and an NEDC range of more than 1000km. It was formerly priced for ET7 subsidies prior to the selling price of 448,000-526,000 yuan. Let's go over the highlights of this EV.

The body size is 5098/1987/1505mm, and the wheelbase is 3060mm, putting it in the segment of a medium-sized sedan. the vehicle also provides customers with 19/20-inch rims. In terms of design and look, the NIO ET7 has a modern face style of “X-Bar” modeling, with a closed front face that provides a more technical visual effect. The bumper is decorated with a horizontal strip inside the air hole, and the head is further widened.

In a modern vehicle, the specification of the knowledge of the sizes of a big lamp is reserved, of which the upper layer is the daytime driving light and the steering lamp, and the lower is a far-collected light, with extremely high visibility.

The skyline, waistline of the double waves, slipped back style, intelligent frame-free, and concealed sense door handle, etc., are still used on the body's side. Furthermore, it produces a plain and complex body shape. It will also provide users with a digital key built on UWB technology.

The NIO ET7 is outfitted with Lidar, which operates a watchtower sensor layout. Aquila, NIO's super-sensing system, is outfitted with 33 high-performance sensing hardware components, including 1 ultra-long-distance high-precision lidar, 11 8-megapixel high-definition cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, 2 high-precision positioning systems, 1 vehicle-road cooperative vision, and 1 upgraded primary driver perception hardware.

The NIO eT7's NAD (NIO Autonomous Driving) technology is based on the NIO Aquila NIO Super Sensing System and the NIO Adam Future Supercomputing Platform. Automated driving functions can be gradually implemented in high-speed, urban, parking, and power-on scenarios. And the full functionality of this package of NAD would use a monthly payment model to provide services, namely ADaaS, with a monthly service fee of 680 yuan.

The NIO eT7 is powered by Qualcomm's third-generation automated cockpit computing platform as well as a new generation of handheld Internet controllers. The interior of the new car has been completely redesigned, with a surround waterfall 64-color interior ambient light providing a more refined and intelligent cockpit. In terms of material selection and craftsmanship, the interior architecture pays close attention to texture. Karunn, a sustainable rattan wood, is paired with a microfiber velvet ceiling, Nappa leather, and a meteorite chrome plating technique.

The new car has a 12.8-inch AMOLED central control panel that has been updated, as well as a 10.2-inch HDR optical instrument screen. The scale is very big, and the UI architecture, resolution, and color matching are all quite NIO.

The NOMI Mate 2.0 smart car interface is built into the 12.8-inch AMOLED central control panel. The actual buttons in the central control area have almost been removed, and all other keys are incorporated in the floating large-size central control panel.

The NIO eT7 is powered by a second-generation high-efficiency electric drive platform made of modern materials and outfitted with a front and rear dual-motor four-wheel-drive system. The maximum power of the front permanent magnet synchronous single machine is 241 HP, the maximum power of the rear induction asynchronous motor is 643 HP, the maximum combined output power of the car is 480 kilowatts, and the peak torque is 850 Nm, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.

In the early days, the new car can hold 70 kWh and 100 kWh of the battery pack, including the model of the 70 kWh battery pack, NEDC battery range will cover more than 500 kilometers; 100-kilowatt battery group variant, battery range can exceed 700 Km; and it is a variation of the first 150kWh battery group, NEDC battery life can reach 1000km.
