Chery has unveiled a refreshed variant of its Arrizo 8 Pro compact sedan for the 2025 model year, introducing a trim known as the 400TGDI DCT Luxury. This latest configuration brings a slight bump in engine performance along with an adjusted price tag, positioning it as a subtle but timely update to the existing lineup. According to the official announcement, the new trim starts at 132,900 yuan, which is roughly $18,800, placing it firmly within the competitive compact sedan bracket. Despite the modest revision in power output, the model maintains the familiar design language and interior structure of its predecessor, ensuring continuity for buyers who appreciate the established Arrizo 8 Pro aesthetic and driving feel.Chery Arrizo 8

In terms of dimensions, Chery has kept everything consistent with previous versions. The sedan still measures 4,800 mm long, 1,843 mm wide, and 1,469 mm tall, and it retains its 2,790 mm wheelbase. Buyers can choose between 17-inch or 18-inch wheels, depending on preferred style and driving characteristics. The exterior styling closely echoes that of the earlier 2.0T trim, featuring Chery’s recognizable hexagonal front grille filled with a black honeycomb pattern. Chrome elements continue to frame the lower section of the front bumper, adding a touch of visual refinement. At the rear, the car preserves its full-width taillight signature and characteristic quad-exhaust arrangement, with two exhaust outlets positioned on each side. One of the few visible updates is the shift in model badging: the label on the right side of the rear now reads “400T”, replacing the older “390T” marking. Red brake calipers, fitted to both the front and rear, contribute a sportier visual tone.

Inside, the new trim carries over the cabin design from the 2.0T model almost entirely. The layout includes a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, and a larger 15.6-inch floating touchscreen in the center. Chery continues to use an electronic gear selector, reinforcing the modern cabin environment. The showcased model adopts a striking black-and-red interior colour combination, adding a sense of performance-oriented flair.

Under the hood, the updates become more noticeable. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine has received a small performance upgrade, now producing 192 kW and 400 N·m of torque—a slight but meaningful increase from the previous output of 187 kW and 390 N·m. This enhancement helps the sedan remain competitive in a segment filled with increasingly capable rivals.

Within Chery’s broader product range, the Arrizo 8 Pro 2.0T variants compete with models such as the GAC Aion Yingbao R, which starts near $18,400, and the Lynk & Co 03 2.0T, priced from around $22,200. Sales performance has remained solid as well; in November 2025, the Arrizo 8 series collectively reached 11,775 units sold, reflecting continued consumer interest in the nameplate.
