McLaren has taken cover from a new special edition. The new model is a limited edition of McLaren 720Sm called Le Mans Special Edition. McLaren announced this high-end supercar in memory of its F1 GTR victory at the 1995 Le Mans race.
Starting with the exterior, customers can choose between two body colors, McLaren Orange or Sarthe Grey. for interior also, orange and grey are available.
On the outside, the new limited-edition can be distinguished by its front bumper, grey rear bumper, McLaren 25 anniversary Le Mans logo, five-spoke LM wheels, and brake caliper. Inside the cabin, there are a pair of new carbon-fiber bucket seats.
Mc Laren also mentioned that the VIN number for 720S Le Mans Special Edition starts with 298 which is the number of laps that the winner F1 GTR did in 1995.
Power comes from 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with 710 hp. Power transfers to the rear axle via 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Mc Laren mentioned 2.9 second acceleration from 0 to 100. 720S also can hit 0 to 200 kph in 7.8 second. The top speed is 341 kph as well. Production of McLaren 720S Le Mans Special Edition is limited to 50 examples. Every example costs around $320k.
