Last year Toyota unveiled its new model of Land Cruiser and took the orders. Now, this automaker made an apology on the Japanese website for the long waiting list of this SUV. The translation is:
"Thank you very much for considering and ordering our vehicles. The Land Cruiser has been very well received in Japan and around the world. We sincerely apologize that it will take a long time to deliver the Land Cruiser to you after you place an order. We sincerely apologize for this.
It didn’t take long before Toyota took the all-ordering capacity. For the first deliveries, company needed one year, but a four-year waiting list means high demand and interest from the audience. And more interesting this is just the list from the homeland. The other big market of this SUV, north America is not the target. U.S. will have just the luxury section, Lexus LX in the first quarter of 2022. That will cost around $88,245.
Actually, Lexus LX 600 could even cost more with the Torsion limited-slip rear differential, different tuning for the dampers, a rear stabilizer, forged 22-inch wheels, and different front and rear fascia than other versions. It goes on sale for $102,845. The best and most armed model is Ultra-Luxury grade. It’s not more a big SUV for many people. It’s a four-seater which the rear seats have urethane to absorb vibration and provide even more comfort for the folks in the rear.
The LX 600 would have a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6. What we expect from this engine is 409 hp of power and 479 pound-feet of torque. It also uses a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
