Lamborghini introduced its latest track-only limited-edition supercar called Essenza SCV12. The Essenza SCV12 is actually a hypercar and its production is limited to 40 examples.
The Essenza SCV12 is developed under FIA prototype safety rules and uses a naturally aspirated V12 engine with 818 hp. The upgraded V12 engine gives the car power to weight ratio of 1.66 kg per horsepower. Power sent to the wheels via 6-speed X-trac sequential transmission. The main highlights about the Essenza SCV12 are Capristo sport exhaust system, roof scoop, vertical fins, Brembo calipers adjustable rear wing and magnesium wheels.
The carbon fiber chassis allowed the Lamborghini engineers to reduce the weight while the giant rear wing produces 1,200 kg of downforce at the speed of 250 kph.
