Acura released a Teaser about the new Acura MDX. The teaser is short and enough to release the debuts date, October 14. This is actually the prototype of the fourth generation of MDX. As the company says: “The mantle as the brand’s new flagship model”.

Jon ikeda, the vice president and Acura brand officer said:

“We’re accelerating Acura’s commitment to Precision Crafted Performance and this fourth-generation MDX is the most ambitious and consequential redesign of an Acura core model in our history”

This new car has so many characteristics which has similarities with the latest Acura TLX. The sharp edges for the pentagonal grille, pointy headlights, and the sculped beltline goes from the nose lamps to the taillight are just like the Acura TLX. What is not the same is the size of the car, the new MDX is wider, longer, and lower than the previous generation. But the exact face of this car is yet covered so firmly.

Engine

Also, in 2022 the Standard MDX won’t be alone. It would also accompany the MDX Type S. This version of the vehicle like the original version has the same engine (turbocharged 3.0-liter V6). If the rumors be true, the engine has 355-hp power and also 480-Nm of torque. it would have also a 10-speed automatic All-wheel Drive system. Of course, would be the fourth generation too.
