Dongfeng has officially introduced the 2026 model year Voyah Dream minivan to the Chinese market, a luxury 5.3-meter MPV that combines advanced technology with multiple electrified powertrain options. Customers can choose between a fully electric (BEV) version or a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant, with both configurations incorporating Huawei’s latest smart technologies. Prices for the new Dream start at 329,900 yuan, or about $46,300.
The Voyah Dream was first launched in 2022, and just two years later, in August 2024, a refreshed model entered the domestic market featuring upgraded systems developed in partnership with Huawei. That facelift significantly boosted sales, as the minivan went on to achieve 85,627 deliveries within a twelve-month period, according to China EV DataTracker. The new 2026 edition carries forward the design introduced in the facelift while offering additional refinements and more advanced equipment.
From a styling perspective, the 2026 Voyah Dream maintains a bold presence. The front fascia is defined by a massive chrome grille with 34 vertical bars, flanked by sleek LED headlights seamlessly integrated with additional lighting elements. The silhouette is enhanced by a flat roofline, darkened window pillars, and practical sliding rear doors. At the back, a single LED light bar stretches across the width of the vehicle, emphasizing modernity. Buyers can select from six body colors—black, white, purple, red, golden, and blue. Measuring 5,315 mm long, 1,980 mm wide, and 1,820 mm tall, with a generous wheelbase of 3,200 mm, the Dream offers impressive road presence and cabin space.
Inside, the minivan follows a 2+2+3 seating configuration. Luxury details abound, such as a wood-trimmed center console housing a 15.6-inch touchscreen powered by Huawei’s HarmonyOS. The driver benefits from a 29-inch augmented reality head-up display, while passengers in the second row enjoy first-class comfort with a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted entertainment screen, a built-in 13-liter refrigerator, and electronically controlled sunshades. The second-row captain’s chairs offer zero-gravity reclining, full ventilation, and even a 26-point massage system. Flexibility continues in the third row, where seats can slide 175 mm and recline up to 122 degrees. Even with all rows in use, the trunk accommodates 502 liters, enough to store eight 20-inch suitcases.
The 2026 Voyah Dream is available in two versions: Kunpeng and Qiankun. The Kunpeng model does not include Huawei’s ADS4 driver-assistance suite, while the Qiankun variant becomes the first MPV in the world equipped with this advanced system. ADS4 employs a 192-line LiDAR sensor supported by three millimeter-wave radars, enabling Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) functions on both highways and city streets. Safety is further reinforced with Automatic Emergency Steering (AES) and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB).
Under the hood, the PHEV version combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 110 kW with dual electric motors for a total system output of 480 kW (644 hp). Powered by a 62.5 kWh battery supporting 5C rapid charging, this model can drive up to 350 km on electric power alone under CLTC standards, while sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds.
For those seeking even more range, the BEV version houses a larger 108.7 kWh ternary NMC battery feeding two electric motors with a combined 405 kW (543 hp). It boasts an impressive driving range of up to 700 km per charge under CLTC testing, offering one of the strongest endurance figures in its class.
With its mix of luxury, advanced tech, and strong performance, the 2026 Voyah Dream aims to strengthen Dongfeng’s position in China’s fast-growing high-end MPV segment.
