Changan recently announced a new mid-size crossover, Auchan X5. Changan Auchan X5 is a modern vehicle that follows a different design language that shows a big improvement over other products from the Chinese automaker. The main design elements are a big grille with chrome accents and slim headlights. There are also big air vents inside the front bumper. From the side, a low window profile and alloy wheels can be mentioned and at the rear, there are sports taillights with fake exhaust tips.

In terms of size, Changan Auchan X5 measures 4,490 / 1,860 / 1,580 mm and offers 2,710 mm of wheelbase.

Inside the cabin, driver and passengers will find themselves in a modern space inspired by BMW and Audi cars. Auchan X5 comes with a digital instrument cluster and a big infotainment screen.

Changan Auchan X5 uses a new 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with direct gasoline injection. The engine can produce 180 hp and 300 nm of torque. The engine can be connected to either a 6-speed manual automatic or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
