Buick Futuristic Concept Vehicle, Smart Pot, Suits For Convenient Journey

Last month, Buick came to the 2021 Guangzhou Auto show with two concept cars. Although one was closer to the today’s vehicles, but the other one is really a concept that you would never see on the streets, at least now. it’s named as Smart Pod, capable of most futuristic technologies and also design theory.

The Smart Pot is the design of the GM’s Advanced Design Studio in the United State. The aim is a comfort journey for the passengers, along with safety and connectivity. Its going to be a full autonomous vehicle. The micro-LED lighting technology is just one of the aspects of far away thinking, the dynamic wake-up lighting animations, sliding door, and high-tech ambiance are the other aspects. The GM China VP of Design, Stuart Norris, said:

“The Smart Pod is a bold design concept that looks at the full potential of advanced technologies in electrification, automated driving and digitalized connectivity, delivered in a warm, tactile and luxurious manner,”

Inside the vehicle is programed for the most comfortable journey that you can even imagine. The airy roof gives you a vast view of outside, and sleeping seats makes the view enjoyable. On the other hand, enhanced noise-canceling technology, an ambient sound management system, an air purifying system and of course, premium and natural materials are other significant characteristics of this vehicle.

When we say it’s a car with connectivity, we really mean it. the Smart Pod uses a 50-inch retractable retina LED screen, plus a virtual cockpit system powered by AI-enabled software. Use your voice and your car will respond you. Even you can use it as a movable office.

By the way, don’t get to much excited, its just a concept car and not going to be on streets for a long time.
