Bugatti Restores The First 16.4 Grand Sport Prototype

La Maison Pur Sang, Bugatti's own restoration services division, was unveiled. Bugatti's La Maison Pur Sang initiative is all about resurrecting vintage automobiles while paying close attention to detail and ensuring period-correct authenticity throughout the process. The first historic Bugatti to benefit from this initiative is now revealed. This 2008 Bugatti Veyron is scarcely older than the typical automobile on the road, yet Veyrons aren't mass-produced runabouts for the public. This automobile first appeared in public in 2008 in Pebble Beach, so it's fitting that Bugatti reintroduces it just in time for the 2021 Pebble Beach spectacular.

The La Maison Pur Sang crew got to work on the restoration. That implies more than just new paint and new leather for Bugatti. The first stage is to establish the vehicle's authenticity, which includes validation not just from the VIN but also from stampings on various sections of the automobile. We think that such maneuvers are considerably simpler on a modern vehicle than on a genuinely antique machine from the 1930s.

The Veyron was stripped down and restored to its original launch form after its confirmation. It has a white silver metallic appearance with a Cognac leather interior and appears to be brand new.

The project took the team four months to complete. A better, more specialized service for Bugatti owners cannot be found anyplace in the world.
