BMW revealed its latest electric car the i4. BMW i4 will join the iX3 and the iX SUVs as the third new fully electric car from the Bavarian carmaker. BMW also has the old i3 on its line up which is on the production line since 2013.
BMW i4 looks like a new BMW 4 series while the exterior is also inspired by the next generation BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. It looks like a BMW 4 series with two more doors. It also benefits aerodynamically improved door handles that fold into the doors when they are not in use. BMW also added blue accents here and there in order to emphasize the all-electric powertrain.
Underneath the BMW i4 there is a 523 hp electric motor that helps the i4 to hit 100 hm/h in around 4 seconds. BMW also mentioned the driving range of 590 km with a single charge. The EPA driving range is about 483 km.
BMW hasn't released any other details from the i4 for now but we will hear more about it in the coming months.
