The 2025 Cadillac XT4 family is set to undergo significant changes, including the elimination of the entry-level version and an anticipated increase in prices. Currently available in Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport variants, Cadillac will discontinue the base Luxury trim for the 2025 model year, retaining only the Premium Luxury and Sport options. The decision to remove the base trim has not been officially explained by the company.

All 2025 XT4 models will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 235 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

In its 2024 iteration, the XT4 starts at $39,090, with prices escalating to $42,690 for the Premium Luxury FWD, $43,190 for the Premium Luxury AWD, $45,190 for the Sport FWD, and $45,690 for the Sport AWD. With the discontinuation of the Luxury trim, prices for the 2025 model year are anticipated to commence at least $3,600 higher than in 2024. Moreover, the addition of several new features for 2025 may further elevate the SUV’s starting price.

All new Cadillac XT4 models will now include the Active Safety Package as standard, a feature that was previously optional. This package encompasses adaptive cruise control, automatic speed limit assist, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, and a surround-view camera. Additionally, it introduces rear pedestrian alert, traffic sign recognition, enhanced automatic emergency braking, and intersection assist. Previously, purchasers of the 2024 XT4 had to pay an additional $1,825 for this system.
